Tangled Fae Series Blog Tour

Happy Friday! Only 1 more day until fireworks to celebrate our countries independence. I thought I would start off the celebrating by sharing this awesome YA Fantasy Romance series by Sarah K.L. Wilson. If you didn’t have any plans for this weekend I bet you do now with these awesome books. Check them out below.

Fae Hunter
Tangled Fae Book 1
by Sarah K.L. Wilson
Genre: YA Fantasy Romance

You’re the most wicked thing I’ve ever met.”

From USA Today bestselling author Sarah K. L. Wilson comes a deliciously trope-filled young adult romantic fantasy about a viciously funny mortal girl and her quest to hunt, trap, and conquer powerful fae.
I was born to hunt. I was born to protect.
But this is the one creature I wasn’t trained to kill.
The fae are sneaking into our little town. They stole my sister. They stole my sight. And now they’re going to steal everything else … unless I stop them. Isn’t that so charming?
I don’t care that they’re pretty. I don’t care that to them lies are truth, power is sustenance, and every action ripples into violence. I’m not going to let their glamor fool me. I’m going to use it to fuel me as I bring them down.
But the town is turning against me, and I’m losing allies one by one. I need a secret weapon to use against them and I need to be brave enough to use it … whatever the cost.
Can one mortal girl stop all of the Faewald?
I’m going to have to try.

Think you could craft the perfect bargain?

From USA Today bestselling author Sarah K. L. Wilson comes the second book in this stunning new fantasy series.
Allie Hunter thought all she had to do was make an exchange to buy back her father’s life. She was wrong. Mortals are so often wrong about the Faewald. Usually, that kills them, or mires them in bargains that will suck their life out sip by sip.
With Allie caught in a cage and the Fae she had once tormented her new captor, can she strike the right bargain to save everything she loves?

Fae Nightmare
Tangled Fae Book 3

The hunt is on.

Allie Hunter has lost ten years in the blink of an eye.
But though the town she left has changed, some things – the worst things – remain exactly the same.
As Allie battles conflicting loyalties, the censure of the town, and her own broken family, she begins to realize that she might be the only one standing in the way of a war between fae and mortals.
Can she possibly craft a trap good enough to stop the coming fae army?

Fae Pursuit
Tangled Fae Book 4

Allie Hunter is playing a dangerous game for mortals.

From USA Today bestselling author Sarah K. L. Wilson comes a deliciously trope-filled young adult romantic fantasy about a viciously funny mortal girl and her quest to hunt, trap, and conquer powerful fae.
Allie thought she was saving her own mortality and stopping the Fae incursion when she killed the Balance – one of four Fae roles – and took a particularly essential Fae as her captive.
But Allie didn’t think through the consequences. Now, she has one of the four roles of the Faewald. A role she must fulfill by force of magic.
Worse, the Blood Moon has risen in the Faewald and that means it is the time of the Wild Hunt.
Can Allie find a way to save her people while fleeing the Wild Hunt and fighting against a magic that seeks to control her?
It’s still just one mortal girl against the Faewald, but now the stakes couldn’t be higher.
For lovers of The Cruel Prince and An Enchantment of Ravens comes a world of violent fae, trickery, and magic. Grab the fourth book of the Tangled Fae series today!

Fae Conquerer

She can conquer the Fae – but at what cost?

From USA Today bestselling author Sarah K. L. Wilson comes this thrilling conclusion to a deliciously trope-filled young adult romantic fantasy series about a viciously funny mortal girl and her quest to hunt, trap, and conquer powerful fae.
Allie had an army, allies, and a plan, but with all of those things slipping through here fingers she is being driven further and further toward a path she hadn’t planned to take and a choice she didn’t want to make.
How selfless is Allie, really? Would she give her own life to save her people … and her new husband?
Or will she have to carve out another way forward? And what might that way cost her?

Book Review: Dead Lost

We are getting close to the end of this series. The tension is growing with each book and it gets almost unbearable to get to the ending. Now that Jack has made the ultimate sacrifice a friend is now running free in the world unknown to the others. Potter now faces off against the Photographer and finds his old friends Kayla and Sam. Things get heated as Luke’s betrayals and schemes come to the light.

The Review

Isidor is back thanks to Jack Seth. He is now in search of his true love Melody Rose. What he finds is nothing that he expected. With the vampyrus about to break free into the world to rage war and Potter running ragged. Things seem doomed for our heroes as everything hits the climax.

This book was full of twists, turns and so much excitement. I couldn’t put it down till I finished it in two days’ time. The way Tim O’Rourke continues to keep the story chugging forward with no snags is beyond me. There are so many underlining story-lines that need to get pulled together, and it is fun to watch. Highly recommend this book and this series. Can’t wait to get my hands on the finale.

Ranking: 5 out of 5 stars!

The Book

The murders are believed to have been committed by a winged creature, making Isidor the prime suspect. While both Potter and Isidor hope the journeys they’re taking will push the world back to how it once was, neither of them can truly understand why cracks are forming in the ground…and in the sky above them.

The Sword Unsheathed
Guardians of Erin, Book Three
Ashling Donoghue is no closer to finding her parents than she was the night they disappeared. But hope returns as her brother Kian channels the Sword of Light, revealing past-life secrets and truths long suppressed.
The more she learns, the greater she fears the darkness that drowns the Netherworld also drives her. Is Aengus her true love, or is it Lorcan? Does her future wait in shadow or the light?
One point is clear: the threads of her past-self are woven inextricably into the tapestry of her soul. An impossible choice looms before her, and all the while, evil is poised to strike.

The Chalice and the Crown Blog Tour

It’s another day and I got another book for you to enjoy. Check out this YA Fantasy by Kassandra Flamouri. It sounds like an interesting read. So check out this book you might find yourself a new author to obsess over or a book you love dearly.

The Chalice and the Crown
by Kassandra Flamouri
Genre: YA Fantasy
Driven, talented, and determined to live up to her family’s fame, Sasha Nikolayeva is ballet’s crown princess. But just when Sasha lands her most prestigious role yet, she falls prey to a host of disturbing neurological symptoms that threaten to end her career and her very life. As her mind and body deteriorate, Sasha spirals into a nightmare world where beauty and cruelty exist in the same breath and villains rule from the shadows.
In the glittering, sharp-edged City of Roses, Sasha is no princess. She’s a thrall, a slave. Thousands like her suffer in cursed silence while citizens enjoy the splendor of the City, blissfully unaware that their servants are anything more than living dolls enchanted to do their bidding. But the City’s slavers know the truth, and they are always watching. One misstep could cost Sasha her life—or her soul.
Even as she endures the violence and indignity of captivity, Sasha can’t help being drawn to the beauty of her nightmare world and the underground rebels who offer her friendship, shelter, even love. Before Sasha can break her chains for good, she’ll need choose between the life waiting for her at home and the countless lives she could save if she stays. To choose a nightmare over her real life, her future, would be madness…but maybe a little madness is just what it takes to change the fate of a city built on lies.
Dreams and reality perform a captivating pas de deux in this tale of legacy and longing. A lyrical and original fantasy that, like its heroine, has the soul of a dancer.
– Adi Rule, author of STRANGE SWEET SONG
In retrospect, I probably should have realized a lot earlier that I was meant to be a writer. Even as early as kindergarten, I struggled to pay attention in class because the outside world was just not as interesting as what was going on in my head. By that time, I had already made my storytelling debut (“Squirm the Worm,” delivered at age three) and had spent countless hours playing make-believe with my 284 stuffed animals, every one of whom had a name and detailed backstory.
Though I quickly learned to pay attention (or at least look like I was paying attention) during school hours, I retained a tendency to daydream and a love of stories. When I left high school to attend the Sunderman Conservatory at Gettysburg College, I learned to translate both emotional and programatic content into music. Now, as an exam prep and college essay tutor, I have the time and flexibility to really dig into fiction again. My work has appeared online and in print in such venues as Timeless Tales Magazine and Quantum Fairy Tales.

Book Review: Dead Push

We are getting close to the finale of this series. In Dead Waters the ending left you screaming in pain, rolling on the floor. This next book brings you resolve and hope that happiness is still possible. This book features two characters not seen working together—they actually are enemies. But, this time around Jack Seth and Potter team up hoping to save Kiera and her friends.

The Review

Potter and Jack Seth are standing in the railway station Lilly Blu brought them too. Now with one mission in mind they have to find the photographer. So, they both head back through the layers to find this person. Jack gets partnered up with Isidor and Potter has to keep a watchful eye on the Kiera from the layer they are within. They can’t be seen and need to keep from changing events. Will these two find the photographer? Or, will they mess up big time and destroy everything?

This book is slightly confusing since it involves working within the layers and different wheres and whens. I still find that confusing to understand. However, Tim O’Rourke does a wonderful job weaving the tale to help those that get confused. He does such a good job unfolding a story already told through a different POV it is like reading something completely new. You even get to see the inner thinking of how each storyline is pushed and pulled. Love this book and think is is by far one of the best featuring Potter in the POV and it also has the bonus of Jack Seth.

Ranking: 5 out of 5 stars!

The Book

DEAD PUSHDead Push

“…Most of them just sit as if waiting for someone to join them on their impending journey. Others are rushing for their train as if late for some important meeting. They can’t wait to board one of those trains below ground. When I first discovered this place, I don’t know how long I sat here watching the dead hustle and bustle about, queue at the ticket office and take drinks from the vending machines. Like any new place you visit, like your first day at a new school or in a new job, you soon figure out how things work. I knew I was dead…”

The day is almost here!

Today marks the beginning of the Tales of Ferrês Book Blog Tour. I’m opening up the event with some insight into the process I went through with this bundle book. It began in September 2018 when I released “A Father’s Protection.” I didn’t expect anything to really happen as I released each story in the series. Each month I tried my hardest to stay on schedule. I did have some ups and downs where I missed deadlines. I learned from my mistakes and plan to use my new knowledge in the future.

Now I’m finally writing the final chapter of this journey. Hard to believe after all the stress it is finally coming to a close. You’re probably wondering why you should buy the bundle book since you bought all the short stories prior. Well, the first reason is simple I have a bonus story inside know one has ever seen before. The next reason is I took to rated R stories (The Assassin’s Prophecy and The Wrath of SnowFire) and made them YA. I did a massive rewrite on them that changed the story up quite a bit. Then there is A Father’s Protection. The first story that began it all. It got a complete overhaul. I took constructive feedback from reviews and looked how my writing has changed since 2018. I realized this story didn’t stand up to the others, so I rewrote the entire thing. I added scenes and a whole knew section you will love.

Needless to say I spent the last two months from when “A Powerful Rivalry” release re-doing and rewriting these stories. I even did a fresh edit on all the stories. I just wanted to final book to be the best it could be. Now it is ready for you all to see. I’m super excited and surprised at how many people have shown interest in this book let alone the individual stories. I set out to bring entertainment to people and find my place as an author. I am happy to say I believe I am on the right path to growing my loyal audience. Hoping I keep things going you will see another short story series starting up within this world very soon. But I plan to write most the stories in advance so I don’t have any slip ups on deadlines. Wish me luck on my adventures and I hope you all enjoy Tales of Ferrês. Check out the details below…

About Me!

I’m a dragon loving book nerd that loves spending days with her twin boys. They are like cats, I swear most the time. I have a loving fiancé and we have been together for about five years now. When I’m not writing tales of fantasy adventure, filled to the brink with magical creatures and magic you will find me reading or designing. Yeah, I have a bachelors in graphic design from Briar Cliff University. I love books so much I find I do great work on covers and promotional banners. I don’t do corporate design that well. If you would like to know more about me please leave a comment below and I’ll answer it as soon as I can :).
