The day is almost here!

Today marks the beginning of the Tales of Ferrês Book Blog Tour. I’m opening up the event with some insight into the process I went through with this bundle book. It began in September 2018 when I released “A Father’s Protection.” I didn’t expect anything to really happen as I released each story in the series. Each month I tried my hardest to stay on schedule. I did have some ups and downs where I missed deadlines. I learned from my mistakes and plan to use my new knowledge in the future.

Now I’m finally writing the final chapter of this journey. Hard to believe after all the stress it is finally coming to a close. You’re probably wondering why you should buy the bundle book since you bought all the short stories prior. Well, the first reason is simple I have a bonus story inside know one has ever seen before. The next reason is I took to rated R stories (The Assassin’s Prophecy and The Wrath of SnowFire) and made them YA. I did a massive rewrite on them that changed the story up quite a bit. Then there is A Father’s Protection. The first story that began it all. It got a complete overhaul. I took constructive feedback from reviews and looked how my writing has changed since 2018. I realized this story didn’t stand up to the others, so I rewrote the entire thing. I added scenes and a whole knew section you will love.

Needless to say I spent the last two months from when “A Powerful Rivalry” release re-doing and rewriting these stories. I even did a fresh edit on all the stories. I just wanted to final book to be the best it could be. Now it is ready for you all to see. I’m super excited and surprised at how many people have shown interest in this book let alone the individual stories. I set out to bring entertainment to people and find my place as an author. I am happy to say I believe I am on the right path to growing my loyal audience. Hoping I keep things going you will see another short story series starting up within this world very soon. But I plan to write most the stories in advance so I don’t have any slip ups on deadlines. Wish me luck on my adventures and I hope you all enjoy Tales of Ferrês. Check out the details below…

About Me!

I’m a dragon loving book nerd that loves spending days with her twin boys. They are like cats, I swear most the time. I have a loving fiancé and we have been together for about five years now. When I’m not writing tales of fantasy adventure, filled to the brink with magical creatures and magic you will find me reading or designing. Yeah, I have a bachelors in graphic design from Briar Cliff University. I love books so much I find I do great work on covers and promotional banners. I don’t do corporate design that well. The 13: Tales of Macabre Book Review

Stephanie Ayers doesn’t disappoint with book two in her, The 13 series. The 13: Tales of Macabre opens with an epic story of love and betrayal pulling you in. As with Tales of Illusory you will find a story to spark your inner horror fancies around this most wonderful time of year. No I’m not talking about the horrid Christmas season, I’m talking about the best holiday ever! Halloween.

If you don’t know me or the fact that I am the proud mother of two twin 1 year-old boys then you will understand how epic this book is to me. I started my morning sitting down to just read one story, before the monsters woke up for breakfast. The Tales of Macabre had me so captivated I sat down between screaming fits and read to the end within a two hour period.

Her beautifully crafted stories and technique with creating such a master piece has inspired the writer in me. I now am planning to do my own horror story collection for next year and here’s hoping Stephanie is too. Looking forward to book 3 Stephanie so keep them coming.

The 13: Tales of Illusory Book Review

Several decades have passed since the last time I sat down to read a horror genre book. I am an avid fantasy lover with a mixed love for vampires, werewolves and so much more. Stephanie Ayers’ The 13: Tales of Illusory was a refreshing read. It sparked my love for horror all over again. Each story leaves its own impression and keeps you turning the page making you wonder “what’s next?”

I would have to say my top two favorite stories were “Tears of a Sinner” and “What the Sign Saw”. “Tears of a Sinner” gave me the wonder of a vampire tale filled with romance and death. When I finished this story, I wished it was a full-length book instead, it left me screaming for more. But, the wonder didn’t end there for I found another story that was longer and fulfilled the hunger I needed fed.

“What the Sign Saw” kept me captivated till the end making me want to turn the page. This story has turns and twists keeping you on your toes. The ending is brutal but I won’t spoil it for you. This story had me so captivated my poor fiancé tried to ask me something during this story and I bit his head off. Told him “don’t interrupt me I’m getting to the good part!” Definitely recommend this book to anyone that loves suspense, horror and a mix of death with romance.

Overall, I highly recommend this book to any avid horror loving readers. If you are looking for something fun, creepy, suspenseful and steamy then buy this book. Stephanie did such an awesome job with this story collection I already pre-order book 2 The 13: Tales of Macabre, scheduled for release this Friday, October 26, 2018. Keep your eyes peeled for book 2’s review coming Friday. And, Stephanie loved your book and look forward to reading all your other creepy fantastical reads.
